About Us

Women in Science

Women in Science was a first in its kind, taking part in the physics deparment in December of 2021.  We faced a lot of obstacles in organizing the event, from advertising to number of expected visitors, factors that affect the flow of the workshop and the programme in general.  Thankfully from members and volunteers was immense.

As a team, we had fun, developed soft skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem – solving, adaptability, communications and many others.

Mainly the event left a bitter sweet aftertaste, from finally achieving and closing such an event. On the following morning, though, the question “What’s next” was afloat.

So, what is next?

Well, some events are in works, and will be anounced(but we can’t give them out yet)

In any case, please leave your thoughts in the comments section.
